Here I am thinking to myself. What is the need to start writing more than I have ever done in a way that I have never done before?
I remember reading about and seeing movies of cave men and people who lived in the ‘Stone Age’ as they call it. They left inscriptions on rocks, on walls, in caves etc.
Thanks to them for doing that otherwise the generations after them would not have been able to imagine the sort of life they lived.
Recently, I read the personal notes of a certain great Queen who lived thousands of years ago. Even though we are a few thousand years apart, her journals brought us so close. I was able to experience her moods, her joys, her sorrows, her love, her perspective, her hopes, her disappointments; her life. I found it a rare privilege. It was as if I had the privilege of being with her, having her walk me through the phases of her life and personally mentoring me on how to live mine.
Journaling bridged the gap of time. tell a friendJournaling bridged the gap of time.
Then I thought, it is an opportunity not to be missed- every chance I get to write could never be in vain. It must be a privilege that must be used wisely.
Journaling is great. It helps me reflect, remember, reminisce, …and share my experience with others.
I see my blogs as a personal journal that would go an extra mile because I get the chance to share with YOU.
So again, I am excited as we continue on this lovely journey of life together.
